Wellsprings Forum Dialogue: How does small-scale variation lead to linguistic diversity?

The Wellsprings of Linguistics Diversity Laureate project is excited to announce our third and final Forum Dialogue event, which will happen on November 19-23 this year at ANU. We're welcoming special guests Sally Rice (University of Alberta) and Tony Woodbury (University of Texas), to discuss this question: how does small-scale variation lead to linguistic diversity?

As with previous years, our special guests will deliver keynote lectures Monday-Thursday in an alternating pattern, and we will have a synthesis discussion on the Friday. Our program will only run for the mornings of the week (9am-12:30pm) and a light morning tea will be served.
