Facilitated access to AIATSIS collections
The Australian Institute for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies is pleased to recommence the process of facilitated access to its collections for CoEDL members and affiliates only. This service will provide requestors with speedier access to items in the AIATSIS collections, as well as the opportunity to negotiate reduced charges.
If you are an investigator, member or affiliated researcher of the Centre and wish to use this service, please email CoEDL@aiatsis.gov.au outlining the collection material you are seeking and your timeframe. Staff will review your request and contact you directly regarding the process.
As some collection material carries personal, ceremonial or copyright restrictions and can only be copied once permissions have been obtained, request processing times may vary. Please note that AIATSIS is unable to guarantee access to all material requested as on occasion copyright holders may not provide the necessary approvals.
